An animated re-creation inspired by the historic Tyne River Bridge, Newcastle, UK.

One of the Moving Bridge series.
First designed by Leonardo Da Vinci in the 1400's this design continues to be used today.
This model is fun to construct and will provide hours of play time after it is assembled. Using a small bevel gear the bridge can be opened and closed and will suit playtime with many of the wooden train set cars and figures.
Found in many cities around the world the swing bridge has a long and interesting history.

A fun history project.

Stands 72 cm long, 10 cm wide and 29 cm high.
