Leonardo Da Vinci Ornithopter Wooden Construction Kit

Leonardo Da Vinci Ornithopter Wooden Construction Kit.

A working re-creation inspired by Leonardo's 15th Century Ornithopter.

Flying has always been a dream of humans and Leonardo's facination with birds and flight was evident in his studies of human powered flying machines. His Ornithopter has captured the imagination of people for generations.

This kit combines Leonardo's ornithopter with one of his bevel gear designs to animate the model with flapping wings and a pilot with moving legs and arms. The completed model make an attractive display piece.

A fun history project.
