'W' class trams were introduced to Melbourne in 1923 as a new standard design. Simple and rugged, craftsman built and with a dual bogie layout, the W Class was the mainstay of Melbourne's tramway system for over 60 years. A handful of the W6 trams still operate today throughout Melbourne. Some were converted for the City Circle tourist route as well as for the popular Tram Car Resturant.
Lovingly restored in the style of the 1920's the Tramcar Restaurant is the world's only travelling tramcar restaurant.
Sized at 18cm long x 4.4cm high x 3.3cm wide.
Intended as a display model. Not suitable for children under 6y.o.
